Black metal appears to have emerged from a cold forest deeply disappointed in organized religion. Sludge metal is something extremely heavy dragging itself out of contaminated water. Industrial metal located machinery and intends to use it. Nu metal returned wearing very large pants. Groove metal made movement heavier. Metalcore brought breakdowns. Power metal brought swords.
